No official Steam Deck rating exists yet. Valve's official review status for Airframe Ultra is "Not yet reviewed," and no test results are listed, so the game has not been rated Verified, Playable, or Unsupported. That means Steam Deck compatibility is currently undetermined rather than confirmed one way or the other.

What does the Steam store confirm about controllers?

The store lists full controller support, recommends a gamepad, and also offers a keyboard-only option. These are official store features, not a Steam Deck verdict. A game can support gamepads on a desktop and still lack a Valve compatibility rating, so controller support on its own should not be read as a guarantee that the game runs well on Steam Deck.

What PC requirements apply?

The official requirements target Windows only, with the same storage figure for both tiers. Online play also requires a broadband connection.

The requirements also note that a gamepad is highly recommended for optimal steering control.

How does the game actually play?

Airframe Ultra is a battle-racer: you race hoverbikes and also fight on foot. According to Indiecator's preview of the Steam Next Fest demo, you boost across dense, chaotic maps toward the goal, then jump off your bike and brawl before doing it all again. The same preview describes the game as part racing game and part brawler, with sharp but weighty controls and brutal collisions. Those are the impressions of a third-party preview of an early demo, not a final verdict on the released game.

What else should a Steam Deck owner know before buying?

The store page confirms Windows as the platform, split-screen and online multiplayer, and 21 Steam achievements. Beyond Valve's "Not yet reviewed" status, the patch notes do not list a Steam Deck rating or test results. If handheld performance matters to you, treat the current status as unconfirmed and watch for Valve's official rating to appear on the Steam store page.
