Videocult plans to keep adding content after the November 5, 2026 launch, but the developers have not published a formal roadmap with dated milestones. In a pre-launch message from the developers, James and Joar of Videocult described the release as an "initial Airframe 1.0" that establishes the fundamentals, with more content to follow once the first wave of launch bugs is worked out.

What did the developers say about post-launch content?

The developers said the 1.0 release is intentionally paced slowly because a full 3D multiplayer racer with character creation, lobbies, matchmaking, progression and stores is a big jump from their previous 2D platformer. Once they know what to expect from the live game, they intend to "basically continue with the vibe of the beta pacing," rolling out new content every quarter or so "until the game fills out all the crazy ideas we have in mind for the world." They also teased that "Joar has been cooking up" surprises.

The same message warned that some elements veterans know from the betas are "curiously absent" from launch, adding that "if it's not there, it most likely" is planned for later — the developer post itself was cut off at that point, so what exactly is missing is not officially listed.

How often will updates come?

Roughly quarterly, if the developers' stated intent holds. The message frames the schedule as "every quarter or so," so it is a direction rather than a locked calendar. No dates, version numbers or named updates have been announced yet, and the developers have not committed to a specific number of content drops.

What new features are planned?

No specific post-launch features have been officially named. The developers only said content will follow the pacing of the beta period and expand on ideas for the game's world. For context, the closed betas each focused on a different set of maps — the community-run Versions page on the Airframe Ultra Wiki lists Warehouse, Storm Drain, Chasm, Night Ride, Quarry, Ocean Drive and Estate across Beta 1 through Beta 4 — but there is no official statement that any particular map or mode is coming after launch.

Where will updates be announced?

Through Steam announcements and the Airframe Ultra Discord. The launch-day post directed players to the Discord for a week of community events, and the October devlog said the head of publishing would keep writing the devlogs "through the end of the year," inviting readers to say whether they want them continued into 2027. The developer message about future content was published on Steam: A Message from Videocult.

How can I provide feedback or report bugs?

Use the official bug portal at bugs.akuparagames.com/airframe-ultra/bugs, which the launch post pointed players to for bug reports. During the final beta, the studio also said the developers would be watching that portal and that it is the easiest way to send bugs up to them. Since their post-launch plans depend on first working out launch issues, reporting problems is the most direct way to influence what comes next.
